Structured Literacy Summer Camp for Rising 2nd-4th Grade Students

Who Should Enroll
NeuroStars Phonics Factory specializes in structured literacy instruction for neurodivergent youth, particularly students with autism and dyslexia. While our year-round programs focus on those populations, our Power Up Reading Camp is open to all rising 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students who need structured reading support.
What Students Will Work On

- Multisensory Structured Literacy Instruction
Students will build confidence and apply reading skills in real-world literacy activities throughout the program.
Small-Group Instruction
Students learn in intentionally small groups (maximum 12 students) to ensure individualized attention, guided practice, and meaningful feedback. Instruction is explicit, systematic, and aligned with structured literacy principles.
Skill-Building With Confidence
Campers strengthen decoding, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills while building reading confidence. Each student leaves with measurable growth and practical strategies they can apply in the upcoming school year.
Structured & Engaging Learning Environment
Power Up Reading Camp blends focused literacy instruction with interactive learning experiences, including real-world reading activities in downtown Macon. Students remain actively engaged while developing foundational reading skills.

Spots are limited to 12 students to ensure small-group instruction.

Camp Policies
If payment plan is not completed by May 15, 2026, the reserved seat will be released. Payments made to date will be refunded minus a $75 administrative fee. If camp is canceled by NeuroStars, families receive a full refund.

Enrollment Limit: 12 Students

$700 due at time of registration.
Option 2: Payment Plan
Step 1:
$250 non-refundable deposit due at registration
(Reserves your student’s seat)
Step 2:
$225 due April 15, 2026
Step 3:
$225 due May 15, 2026
All payments must be completed by May 15, 2026.
If payment plan is not completed by May 15, 2026:
The reserved seat will be released.
Any payments made beyond the $250 non-refundable deposit will be refunded minus a $75 administrative fee.
If camp is cancelled by NeuroStars, families receive a full refund.
Power Up Reading Walk
During the final week of camp, students will participate in a structured downtown “Power Up Reading Walk,” applying decoding, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills in real-world settings.
This culminating experience reinforces how literacy connects to community, culture, and everyday life.
