Transforming Literacy for the Learners Who Need It Most

What We Do

NeuroStars Phonics Factory provides structured literacy intervention, autism homeschool coaching, summer reading support, parent resources, and family-centered literacy support for neurodivergent learners.

Our work is especially centered around autistic learners and their families while also serving students with dyslexia and ADHD. Through explicit, multisensory, and Orton-Gillingham-informed literacy support, we help learners strengthen reading, spelling, decoding, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and confidence.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we work to expand access through sliding-scale afterschool tuition, low-cost autism homeschool coaching, scholarship support, donations, sponsorships, and community partnerships.

Structured Literacy Support Built on the Foundations of Reading

Our literacy approach is rooted in the foundational skills students need to become stronger readers. Through explicit, multisensory instruction, we support phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and wraparound learning needs.

We Build Strong Foundations

Phonemic Awareness Focus

Students develop essential listening and sound-awareness skills, setting the stage for successful reading through playful, targeted, and evidence-based activities.

We Strengthen Sound-to-Print Skills

Phonics Focus

We teach children how letters represent sounds, using structured, multisensory strategies that build decoding confidence and spelling awareness from the ground up.

We Boost Reading Flow

Fluency Focus

Through repeated practice and modeling, students learn to read smoothly, accurately, and with expression, developing rhythm, pacing, and reader confidence.

We Grow Word Power

Vocabulary Focus

Our instruction builds word knowledge across reading, speaking, and writing, helping students make stronger connections and better understand what they read.

We Deepen Understanding

Comprehension Focus

We help students think critically, visualize, question, and summarize, turning decoding into meaning and helping them engage deeply with text.

We Surround Readers With Support

Wraparound Support Focus

We support the whole learner through regulation-aware routines, family communication, parent coaching, sensory-aware supports, and encouragement that helps students feel ready to learn.

Regulate to Read™

Regulate to Read™ is part of our whole-learner literacy approach. It recognizes that many autistic, dyslexic, and ADHD learners need support with regulation, attention, confidence, and emotional readiness in order to fully engage in reading and spelling instruction.

Through sensory-aware routines, movement, reflection, calming tools, and regulation strategies, Regulate to Read™ helps students feel more prepared for structured literacy instruction and long-term literacy growth.

This initiative strengthens our structured literacy approach by supporting the whole learner. Through sensory-aware routines, movement, reflection, and calming tools, Regulate to Read™ helps students feel more prepared for reading, spelling, and literacy growth.
