Literacy Guidance for Autism Homeschool Families

Launch From Home is an autism homeschool coaching and support program that helps families teach reading, spelling, and structured literacy skills at home with confidence. Through parent coaching, home literacy practice plans, progress check-ins, and a monthly Parent Circle, NeuroStars Phonics Factory supports autism homeschool families in building realistic reading routines that are sustainable, sensory-aware, and responsive to each autistic learner’s needs.

Coaching Focus Areas

We help families use structured literacy routines at home to support reading, spelling, and language development for autistic homeschool learners.

Families receive guidance for homeschool reading practice through explicit, step-by-step routines that support decoding, fluency, comprehension, and reading confidence.

We support parents with structured spelling practice, sound-letter connections, word building, spelling patterns, and encoding activities that can be used at home.

Decoding Skills

Coaching may include support with letter sounds, blending, syllable practice, word reading, and Orton-Gillingham-informed strategies for approaching unfamiliar words.

Reading Stamina

We help families build reading stamina at home by planning realistic pacing, breaks, and homeschool reading routines that support attention, regulation, and confidence over time.

Families receive guidance for sensory-aware and regulation-aware homeschool learning routines that help autistic learners feel more ready for reading, spelling, and literacy practice.

Families receive progress check-ins to review reading growth, adjust home literacy routines, and respond to each child’s changing learning needs.
