Our Mission & Vision

Our Mission

To empower autistic, dyslexic, and ADHD learners through structured literacy support, equitable resources, and family-centered programs that help them grow as confident, capable readers.

Our Vision

A future where neurodivergent learners have access to affirming literacy support, stronger reading foundations, and learning environments that honor how they grow.

Who We Serve

Supporting Autistic, Dyslexic, and ADHD Learners

NeuroStars Phonics Factory supports neurodivergent learners who need structured, responsive, and multisensory reading support. Our programs are designed for students who may need help strengthening reading, spelling, decoding, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, writing foundations, and literacy confidence.

Our work is especially centered around autistic learners, while also creating structured literacy pathways for students with dyslexia and ADHD when our programs are an appropriate fit.

What We Provide

NSPF provides literacy and family support through programs designed to meet learners and families at different points in their journey.

Path to Launch Afterschool Program

After-school structured literacy intervention for students in grades 2–5 with autism, dyslexia, and, in select cases, ADHD.

Launch From Home

Autism homeschool coaching for families building reading, spelling, and structured literacy routines at home.

Regulate to Read

A literacy readiness and regulation-support method that helps students build emotional awareness, regulation strategies, confidence, and focus before and during literacy instruction.

Power Up Reading Camp

Summer reading support for struggling readers who need additional help with foundational literacy skills.

Our Approach

Structured Literacy With Support for the Whole Learner

Our approach combines explicit, multisensory literacy instruction with neurodivergent-friendly support that honors each learner’s strengths, pace, regulation needs, and confidence.

Through Orton-Gillingham-informed instruction, progress monitoring, family communication, and regulation-aware literacy practices, we help students build stronger foundations for reading, spelling, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and long-term literacy growth.

Why Access Matters

Helping More Families Reach the Support They Need

Many families need specialized literacy support but face barriers related to cost, availability, eligibility, or finding programs that truly understand neurodivergent learners.

As a nonprofit, NeuroStars Phonics Factory works to reduce those barriers through sliding-scale afterschool tuition, low-cost autism homeschool coaching, scholarship support when funding is available, community partnerships, donations, and sponsorships.

Our goal is to make structured literacy support more accessible while maintaining the quality, care, and sustainability our students and families deserve.

Our Commitment

Built for Literacy Growth, Confidence, and Belonging

At NeuroStars Phonics Factory, we believe literacy support should help learners feel seen, capable, and supported.

We are committed to creating learning experiences that are structured, affirming, and responsive to the needs of autistic, dyslexic, and ADHD learners. Every program is designed to help students build literacy skills while also strengthening confidence, readiness, and family support.
